excellent work.. it reminded me of Frida Kahlo's paintings. I think it's the static feeling, and the enhancement in details. I think also, its the eyebrows.. great work!

Great cropping, love the tones, and like Ryye said, I especially like how the skin is dark and in contrast with the dodged eyes.
This image strikes me as a great ad for a perfume of some sort.. it's got a fashion-istical(?) feel to it I guess.
when i did this, i had this very political issue. though a few of my friends told me not to mention the title/situation cause its too sensitive and would cause problems. so i chose another way. ill tell it to you soon
